This
seminar series is designed for students who have completed The
Art of Midwifery I Workshop or have studied in a comparable program.
It is appropriate as an enhancement for doulas or as a next step for
students preparing for apprenticeship or as birth assistants. Women
who are planning to become CNMs will again find this program inspirational
and educational. The course follows guidelines set up by the MANA core
competencies and the North American Registry of Midwives. This is a
12 day seminar which meets every two to three weeks on a week-end day.
There are required texts as well as handouts, outlines and homework
for each class. Students may receive a certificate of completion by
completing a take home review exam.
